ResPawn Entertainment: Works on Three Star Wars Games, including FPS

Electronic Arts and Lucasfilm Games join together to continue to deliver brand-new gaming experiences that play in the Star Wars Universe.

Respawn Entertainment will be responsible for the development and production of these new projects. The work on the projects have already begun.

Vince Capella, Group GM and Founder of Respawn, will lead this new phase of the relationship between EA and Lucasfilm and build on the award-winning history of Respawn in game development and experience in telling captivating Star Wars stories.

Game Director Sting Asmussen and his team work already on next game of the Action Adventure series Star Wars Jedi and are supported by two new teams working to provide more unique Star Wars gaming experiences in different genres.

The development of Respawns brand new Star Wars First-Person Shooter is headed by Peter Hirschman, Game Director at Respawn, which has a long and successful story with the Star Wars franchise.

The third title is a Star Wars Strategies L, which is developed in collaboration with the newly founded Studio Bit Reactor, which is directed by the Game Industry Veterans Greg Firer. ResPawn will produce the new STAR WARS strategy game, while Bit Reactor is in progress in the development of the title.

Peter Hirschman previously worked as a VP of Development at Lucasarts and was executive producer of the original Star Wars Battlefront games. Hirschman and the Respawn team have just started working on the title.
